About Diploteca

Diploteca writes a daily press review of your host country's media for embassies and diplomats: the stories that matter to your mission, summarized by AI in your language and emailed to your team.

Who runs Diploteca

Diploteca was founded by Arturo Calvo, an AI engineer and entrepreneur, and is run by CALVO DEVESA, a Norway-based company (organization number 819 466 882). You can reach us at hello@diploteca.com.

How we choose our sources

For every country we cover, our team manually curates 10 to 30 news sources that publish an RSS feed.

Your press review is written from these sources, and every item links to the original article so you can check it. Paywalled newspapers can be included too, because we work from the summary each publisher puts in its RSS feed. If a source you rely on is missing, you can add it in your preferences.

Full reports go one step further. When you click Create report on an item, Diploteca re-reads the last 24 hours of articles from your sources, picks the ones about that story and writes a longer report that cites a source for every claim. The Embassy plan includes 10 full reports per month.
